Description
Jazz at The Hunter Club presented by Headhunters Live brings you:
Duncan Hemstock and James Davison – Swing’s The Thing
Two of the most celebrated swing musicians on the UK scene come together as an explosive duo, purveying the infectious music of the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s with authentic, heartfelt relish. Aussie multi-reedsman Duncan Hemstock has his musical roots in Benny Goodman and Edmund Hall (clarinet) and Lester Young (tenor sax) while trumpeter extraordinaire James Davison is equally at home with the BBC Big Band and the Echoes of Ellington Orchestra as with the London Symphony Orchestra. With Chris Ingham (piano), Simon Thorpe (bass) and George Double (drums).
Hemstock “He brings a joy for life and music”
