THE STRAYS
On Saturday 20th April, we’re giddy as a goose to be welcoming back savagely savant soothsayers of the medieval math-rock maelstrom SLUGHOUSE to the Hunter Club, as they once again join forces with explosive/expansive post-grunge offal-ousters HORSE PARTY for spot of light entertainment the whole family can enjoy.
Support comes from intensely intense post-punk berzerkers HEADCHECK, fuzzed-up folk/grunge legends TAKEDA and the Washing Machine debut of brand new, hugely exciting new Bury band THE STRAYS!
All ages are welcome. Under-14s must be accompanied by a parent or carer.
There is a fully-licensed bar on the premises. No ID, no alcohol.
THE HUNTER CLUB IS A SAFE SPACE
We take audience safety very seriously at The Hunter Club, and strongly believe that gigs can and should be safe spaces, free from harassment, intimidation, prejudice, bullying and violence. We expect that all artists, venue staff and attendees will respect our values, and we have a zero tolerance policy towards those who do not. Anyone who endangers the enjoyment and safety of others at a Washing Machine night will be ejected and barred. It is unfortunate that in 2024 we still have to say this stuff, but we hope that by doing so we can help to create an atmosphere where everyone feels safe and able to enjoy themselves.
