Washing Machine proudly presents

HORSE PARTY
SLUGHOUSE
THE INTERESTING TIMES GANG
WHAT ON EARTH
HEADCHECK

On Saturday 18th November, we’ll be bringing a healthy double-dose of expansively wonky alt-grunge-explosivity to The Hunter Club in Bury St Edmunds as HORSE PARTY and SLUGHOUSE team up for a spot of co-headline loveliness. And by ‘loveliness’, of course, we mean ‘unfathomable intensity, served unfathomably loud.’ Yay! Supporting are prog-anointed adventure-pop wünderkids THE INTERESTING TIMES GANG, and two rather exciting new prospects: WHAT ON EARTH and HEADCHECK, featuring between them former members of BSE Rock City royalty The Daze, Substation and Anorak. Mission: Unmissable.

All ages are welcome. Under-14s must be accompanied by a parent or carer.

There is a fully-licensed bar on the premises. No ID, no alcohol.

THE HUNTER CLUB IS A SAFE SPACE
We take audience safety very seriously at The Hunter Club, and strongly believe that gigs can and should be safe spaces, free from harassment, intimidation, prejudice, bullying and violence. We expect that all artists, venue staff and attendees will respect our values, and we have a zero tolerance policy towards those who do not. Anyone who endangers the enjoyment and safety of others at a Washing Machine night will be ejected and barred. It is unfortunate that in 2023 we still have to say this stuff, but we hope that by doing so we can help to create an atmosphere where everyone feels safe and able to enjoy themselves.

In 2019 we were awarded the Best Local Music Venue award by the NMG awards,
another local institution celebrating the vibrant local music culture in East Anglia.
