On Saturday 4th October, we’ll be welcoming the masters of resplendently rumbling post-punk agitation anthems HEADCHECK to The Hunter Club in Bury St Edmunds for their very last time before their members disperse like petals on the wind (i.e. head off to uni or go travelling). Come and join us as we weep openly whilst flailing around the moshpit so everyone thinks it’s sweat.

Helping us send off Headcheck are very special guests HELIX, whose arsenal of high-octane, white-knuckle indie rock weaponry has marked them out as an absolutely-must-see live sensation. As if that wasn’t enough, brutally intense post-hardcore pummellers RATS AS BIG AS DOGS are returning after a far-too-long hiatus, alongside your new punk heroes LAVA PIGEON and ace alt-rockers VELOCITY.

We take audience safety very seriously at The Hunter Club, and strongly believe that gigs can and should be safe spaces, free from harassment, intimidation, prejudice, bullying and violence. We expect that all artists, venue staff and attendees will respect our values, and we have a zero tolerance policy towards those who do not. Anyone who endangers the enjoyment and safety of others at a Washing Machine night will be ejected and barred. It is unfortunate that in the 21st Century we still have to say this stuff, but we hope that by doing so we can help to create an atmosphere where everyone feels safe and able to enjoy themselves.
