Get ready for a month of rib-tickling fun and laughter when Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk hosts its first Comedy Festival throughout February.
The town’s history is as rich as the punchlines, which will take you on a rollercoaster ride through the month filled with side-splitting stand-up, outrageous improv, witty poetry and comedy plays creating a fun cocktail that’ll leave you in stitches.
We are happy to announce we are being joined by Aaron Jay on Thursday 29th February at our Comedy Open Mic night with his new headlining show, HONEY, I’M HOME. Bar and Venue from 6PM with free pool and 2 for 1 drinks. This event is FREE to attend however we will be collecting for Mind Suffolk and we encourage you donate to this fantastic cause. Aaron Jay is an up and coming comic from East Anglia. He has been performing up and down the country making people laugh, including stints across Europe. Aaron is a regular contributor to BBC Local Radio and has written for the BBC New Comedy Show. Aaron was recently a finalist in the Bath New Comedian of The Year competition. Aaron was also shortlisted for the Top Jokes Of The Edinburgh Fringe 2023 by The Daily Telegraph.
