Perfect swinging summer sounds from a fabulous quartet.
Taking their cue from Django Reinhardt’s war-years line-up, where Hubert Rostaing’s clarinet replaced Stephane Grapelli’s violin, the Djangoliers specialize in performing music both written and inspired by the late, great Belgian guitarist. As well as performing many of Django’s classic arrangements and compositions such as ‘Nuages’, ‘Swing 42’ and ‘Manoir Des Mes Rêves’, they also interpret tunes from the more contemporary canon of the style now known as ‘Gypsy Jazz’.
